BEST 3 Web Pages!!

As everyone know, there are uncountable numbers of web pages in the Internet. I usually try to find and use Japanese pages. However, now, I'll introduce English pages.

The first one is Hollywood.com. This page is very useful for people who want to know something about Hollywood movies, TVs, or DVDs. About movie, we can know information of movies; for example, casts, reviews, and so on.

The second one is...Fun Pages.com. In this page, there are many funny stories and pictures. I found one interesting story, which is not only funny but also understandable for me. The title is What Women Want In A Man. I recomend you to read it, and I'm sure that you can agree with it.

The last one is Fun Stun. It is similar with second one, but differemt. It also has interesting pictures and stories. In this page, there is daily useless jokes. It is trashy, but funny!!

WANTED!!!

There are many technological items I wanna get.

1. iPod nano---Now, I use a MD player to listen to music. It can work, but it's easy to work wrong; f example, stopping suddenly or don't work as I set. And I don't have component, so I can't record music on MDor from CD. Therefore, I want iPod and get songs from computer(Internet). I think iPod shuffle is not convenient because it doesn't have screen. And normal iPod is expensive for me. So I want nano!!

2. Plasmatic TV---The TV in my house is old one which has very thick body and not so large screem. In addition, it can't show good image. So I want the newest one!! Of course, it should have large large screen!!

3. DVD player---In my house, there is no machine that can play back DVDs, of course also record. Moreover, our Video player doesn't work well now. Therefore, not only I can't watch any DVDs but also I can't record any TV programs. So I need DVD player!!!


I'll buy these items!!!......if I win a large sum of money in the lottery...

Danger!!!

Computer is very convenient, and a loooooot of people use it all over the world. However, computer has many risks, and people have to notice that.

One of the danger is about personal information. When people use Internet shopping, they have to input their personal information such as name, address, telephone number, date of birth, and so on. If the shop fail in something, it might cause a leak of their information. However, the case of company is more serious because it has more detailed information of not only employees but custom. If a big company fail in protecting such information, it can cause big social problems. For example, virus is an important factor of it.

By the way, the most serious danger of computer for me is.......
computer can fail in my eyesight!!!!!

Fourth Generation Mobile phone

In February 23, NTT docomo succeed in an experment with the fastest speed of date correspondence in the world, 2.5Gbps. It is super high speed correspondence because the speed is 6510 times as fast as the present third generation mobile phone, "FOMA".
An optical fiber, which typifies broadband correspondence, takes about five minuits for downloading a two hours movie. On the other hands, the new one can take only about twelve seconds!!! It is amaziong!!!
It is expected that the fourth generation mobilephone will be major in 2022 or later. However, if the world fastest high speed correspondence is realized, it is not so valuable without attractive contents. Therefore, the cooperation between various industries will become very important.

I'm looking forward to using such cellphone in the future.

Computer in the future

Today, computer is growing and developing rapidly, and I'm sure that it will continue from now on. I have some ideas about how PC will develop and change.

First of all, I guess that cellphone can take place of mouse because cellphone have a lot of functions. So, it is not so amazing if cellphone has laser like Bluetooth. Moreover, the shape of cellphone and that of mouse are very similar!

Then, I think computer can be very very small like size of grasses in the far future. PC will be grasses shape. Glasses can work as screen, cellphone can do as mouse as I said, and keybord can be paper size. As a result, PC will be very portable, and people can use it anywhere.

I'm looking foreward to seeing such change someday.

Present for my family

There is an old computer (Windows 98) in my house. Although it does not have any special functions, my family, including me is satisfied with it because we dont use special things. We can use Iternet, e-mail, and Words, it is enough! BUT!! we have a problem. We cannot watch DVD through our computer! Moreover, we do not have any DVD players. We have only a weak Video player, which cannot record and play back well, so we rarely use it. Therefore, we cannot watch anything if someone lend us DVD of interesting movies. In fact, my brother got a CD and DVD as birthday presents the other day, but of course, he could not do watch the DVD. I am sure that such happening often can occur from now on, and we will be disappointed whenever it happens. Therefore, IF I have much money, I want to buy the newest DVD player and give it to my family as soon as possible.

Problems!!!

I'm not good at computer, so there are many things that I don't know.

First of all, I don't know how to set up new computer, for example, how to connect the printer to the computer, hook up to the Internet, and find which softwares I have to download. I'm going to buy new computer one fine day, and I'm sure that I'll be in trouble because of these things as soon as I buy it.

Moreover, I always get confused when a computer shows me some warnings. Mostly, I can't understand what is the problem and what to do. I think I have to learn how to cope with such problems before I go to the U.S.

In addition, I always worry about computer virus although I've never caught it. I don't know how to get viruses and results. Therefore, of course, I don't know what to do if I get them. As a result, sometimes I'm afraid of even downloading something.

I know I must improve my computer skill and knowledge, but it's too difficult to do it suddenly.

I love PC***

PC is very very very helpful and interesting for me.

The most important part of computer is Internet for me because I can find a loooooot of information through it. There are two useful ways of Internet I often use:

1. I can find the best way of using railroad in some route information websites. If I fill in starting station and destination, computer give me some ways of routes, and I can change the order according to fare or time. Moreover, when I fill in the start time or arrival time, computer can find more detailed information.
I don't have enough knowledge of railroad, so I always use it when I go somewhere I've never been.

2. There are many websites of movie. In such websites, I can get information about movies which are not screened yet. In addition, there are remarks of people who already watched movies about showing films. These are very helpful to choose which movies I'll watch.

I can do these things on cellphone, but computer is better because it doesn't cost as cellphone and I can see more and more information. After all...I love computer!!

My first blog!!

Although I'm NOT strong in computer, there is my history with computer.
I touched a computer for the first time when I was about 10 years old. I was excited and happy when a computer came to my home. In that time, my computer didn't hook up to the Internet, but I thought it is natural and enjoyed it. Few years later, I could use the Internet on my computer, and my sisters, brother, and me enjoyed it all day long. I didn't have cellphone then, so I exchanged e-mail with using the computer. Gradually, I was accustomed to the computer, and I tried to join in bulletin boards and chats.
Now, I'm making my blog for the first time!! It's very exciting for me!! I'm looking forward to doing more more new things through the computer class.
